INVITED PRESENTATIONS
Speakers’ Ready Room
A speakers’ ready room, available every day throughout the Meeting, will be provided for invited speakers.
Audiovisual Equipment (Standard equipment)
If using a Power Point (or any other computer) presentation, please note you need to bring it as a PC / IBM compatible format on a floppy disk (3.5” /1.44 MB) or on a CD or on a “disk on key”, using the USB port in the computer (no ZIP disk!) and load it on one of the Meeting’s computers in the Speakers’ Ready Room, at least 1 hour before the start of the session.
You may supply your own laptop computer as a back-up.
Please note that the Meeting computer in the session halls are being supplied with Windows XP and Office 2000 (at least).
Important note for Macintosh users
If using a Macintosh laptop computer, we encourage you to supply your own computer. Please ensure that it has a VGA socket for external signal. Please remember to:
a) immediately check your computer in the Speakers’ Ready Room as soon as you arrive
b) to also check your computer in the session hall where your lecture is taking place, either during the coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session.
Please note: Double slide projection, overhead projection and video tape recorders are not standard equipment and will only be made available on request, in writing, to the Organising Secretariat office 3 weeks before the Conference.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Posters should be set up starting on Sunday, September 11 at 15:00 hours and removed by Tuesday, September 13 at 14:00 hours.
Posters should not exceed 70 cm width x 100 cm height (portrait-style).
Posters should be brought to the Meeting by the authors.
Please do not mail them to the Secretariat.
The Secretariat is not responsible for posters not collected at the end of the
Conference.
